It is very simple..........first, you highlight all the rar files (and not the sfv file and whatever text file is in there) right click on one of the highlighted rar file and you select extract to (all files in one folder) and that's basically it.

Hi everyone. I downloaded some Wii Isos and burned it like your guide says... I tried to instert the dvd in the wii but it doesn't read it... i just installed a d2pro on wii clip and I don't know if it works cos if i insert the dvd i burned in my pc it doesn't read it...it says there's no files so now i can't understand what's the problem... games or chip? i'll wait for your answers, thanks^^

couple questions I want to ask you:
1. What type of media are you using?
2. what type of software are you using?
3. what speed are you burning the game at?
Also, windows cannot open the format that nintendo uses. only the burning software can read it but cannot open it.

Hi Wii experts,

Recently i just got my Wii set mod, have been downloading games with .iso format. Burnt them into dvds and everything was perfect to entertain my 3 years old daughter.

Today i finished downloading "THE.LEGEND.OF.ZELDA.TWILIGHT.PRINCESS" but after i unzip the files and what i got is "zelda.wii"(4.41G). On top of that, it still comes with a list of files zelda.r00 to zelda.r43 (total of 4.08G).

So may i ask how do i convert all these into a playable dvd? Please advise, thanks!

Following is something I found else where on the net.

If you used Raw Dump to create your image you should have a .iso file that is ready to go. If you used one of the older applications or some other method that produced a ".wii" or some file type other than a .iso you'll need to convert it to a .iso using either Rawdump 2.0 or Unscramble 0.4.

If you are unsure whether or not your file is scrambled you can run the unscramble function of either of those applications. If the file is scrambled they will unscramble it, if the file is not scrambled then they wont harm it.

Another way to check is to look at the file sizes
- If the file is 4,699,979,776 bytes, it is unscrambled.
- If the file is 4,700,012,544 bytes, it was unscrambled with unscrambler 0.4 (unscrambler adds 32,768 bytes to the file).
- If the file is 4,736,698,368 bytes, it is a raw file and must be unscrambled.

Did you try to Unrar the Rar'd Zelda files by double clicking on the Zelda.r00 (of course you must have WinRar or 7-zip installed first)

Thanks for the advise. I did try to Unrar the Zelda.r00 file but it didnt work, so i unscrambled the .wii file using Rawdump 2.0. Managed to get the .iso file now.

Burnt the .iso file onto a dvd, tried playing it on my Wii but it just hangs my Wii set whenever i click the Start button haha...

Maybe the file i downloaded was corrupted? or should i unscramble the .wii file again.

Anyone here has a link where i can download "THE.LEGEND.OF.ZELDA.TWILIGHT.PRINCESS"
(hope i didnt break the rules by asking for a link)

Hey guys,

I couple of posts back someone mentioned that you can't use a Macbook to rip original Wii games because the drive can't recognize the disc (need a LG drive). However, can the Macbook drive be used to burn a .iso onto a DVD-R if the game .iso file is already on the hard drive? I am running Bootcamp (i.e. Windows XP) so I would be able to use imgburn, fyi.

I suppose another fair question is if the Macbook can rip or copy a backup game cd even though it can't do this with the original? I would think yes.

Yes, you can burn .iso on the Mac, either thru bootcamp winxp or even thru MacOSX using Disc Utility.

Yes you can rip backups (not originals) without the need of the special LG drive.
