    Some MMM Help

Hey all. I modded my Wii (Family Edition, SM 4.3U) with the LetterBomb exploit a while back (around Dec.) and I recently used ModMii with a sysCheck.csv to see if I should install any new updates. This is the guide it spat out at me:

    wads.PNG
The one I'm most worried about is hi-lighted (IOS80 [which is SM 4.3, I'm on that so idk if I should install it again...], the rest are stubs, AFAIK). Should I follow the guide excluding that IOS or just leave it be and forget these IOS updates??? I have Priiloader and BootMii/IOS installed with a NAND backup. I'm afraid of updating these low numbered IOS's and getting a brick but ModMii says to do it anyways so any thoughts on this?

    Thanks in advance.

Nintendo hasn't released any new updates since you softmodded, so you don't need anything in that department. Just about the only thing you would need to update would be the cIOS or any apps that may have received an update. The homebrew channel was updated not long ago, and that fixes Wii remotes that failed to work with homebrew.

Hi! I wanted to hack my wii to run my games. I already installed homebrew channel and bootmii IOS and nothing more!

Before I do anything more, I would like to know what are your advices: should I follow the typical guide (like the great one that is here in this forum), or should begin to think in installing ModMii or Sneek?

    Thank you!

MdoMii is not a wii home brew app. So follow this guide to set up what you want to install in your wii

I understand that Modmii is not an homebrew app. But USB Loaders are.
Thus, what should I do? Install a USB Loader and run games on my disc, or should I think of using Modmii or SNEEK to emulate the wii nand? (both things let me play the games that i want right?)

Yeah I went ahead and updated my cIOS's (d2x v8) for my backups. What's the point of updating those??? I looked at the changelog but it seems to be more geared towards SNEEK stuff or something.

I already have the most up-to-date HBC. Wasn't the update issued for the new "Wii MotionPlus INSIDE" controllers (among other bug fixes)? My Wii came with those and the older HBC worked just fine (along with all my other homebrew)... Weird...

So you recommend me not to update the IOS's?

Haha sorry thanks for your time.

There's really no need to update them.
