hi was wondering if you knew why i cant play my new mario kart on my modchipped wii it wants to do an update is this ok or am i better to take it back to the shop and get a homebrew mario kart please help

this is the wrong area to place your question.

but as its xmas i'll help. is mario the same region as your wii? then sure update and play on. if it is not the same region, you will brick your wii. if the game is an import, then you can still play it however, by using brickblocker, starfall or config disc for your chip.

but for help on that you should search and read, because the information is already here

look at the download
open the iso in a brick blocker program
ask whom ever burned it etc

my wii says it is italian eur/pal and my mario kart game says pal so if i update like its asking will my mod chip be ok

i agree it will be fine. and before you ask, it is safe to play online. not just safe, but really fun too

ive put the disc in and nothing happens its not asking for update if i click on the disc icon it comes up with unable to read disc check wii operations manual any ideas thanks

ive tried disc again this time it asked for update all works fine thanks for your help
