I was able to get the homebrew and my usb loader channels back up by following all the info you guys put up. Everything is running fine on 4.2 now. I was suprised how quickly you guys were able to figure it out. Thanks eveyone.

ok a couple things...
1. Im relatively new to all these wii hacking programs. I just recently obtained a Wii however i did used to have one about a year ago on which i installed the hbc. For one reason or another i never went any further than that. so i basically did it for fun i suppose. So my first question is what do i need to install on a wii to be able to run burned games on it?
2. Now I of course updated my wii yesterday to get into the shop channel because i was considering purchasing some N64 games, but i then remembered that hacking it could get me them for no charge, plus i could back-up my games and just use copies. Of course i logged onto this site to discover that i had basically screwed myself. But you guys have made so much progress on this issue in so little time and i commend you for that. Now my second question would be, is there any way to run burned games on a Virgin 4.2 yet? I apologize if you have already answered this (Messie lol) but as i said im not really familiar with alot of these things. I know you said that usb loader does not currently work, but is there some other way to play backups??
3. thnx again for all your help and taking the time to read all this haha

no, I soft-modded it when it was on the 4.0 firmware. Then updated to 4.2, and then cracked it again.
