the new rule
recently, i have noticed people wanting to hack online play, and as you know i for one, am not for it, along with many other staff, and members of the community, after several posts, ending without the person getting the codes, and flaming was getting a tad out of hand, with people and their reasons, it is offically, against the rules, i will say going into it, there is ONE exception, and that is animal crossing, so don't worry anyone who wants or needs help with that, its ok, simply because hacking online, and offline is the same for that game, and it doesn't ruin anyone elses fun! if you got any beefs with this rule, feel free to PM me, and maybe it can be tweaked.


on a final note, in the spirit of the holidays, some new things might pop up on the forum, so keep watching, hehe

WII + HACKS

i see nothing about games =\, in addition, the other times they were asked for, atleast 1 person would start a protest on it, and the only anwser they usually got was the gecko database, which usually didnt anwser them

^ Also, I remember back before Ocarina was released, there was an online hacker on Mario Kart Wii called ihack@you. He pissed off the whole community I was on, and foced people to either lose (and lose VR) or quit (and lose VR). Metroid Prime hunters, Mario Kart DS, and Animal crossing WW have all gone to hell from online hacks.


HOWEVER. I agree in fun online hacks, i.e:
Stages on Smash Bros Brawl
Items on Animal Crossing (NOT SEEDS)
Umm...that's all I can think of atm. But you guys get my point.

thats why i dont understand Chris, i mean what is your limit...?
i mean if you want to say this is wiihacks
lets give people seeding codes, so they can go to other peoples towns, and destroy their saves, or do what that guy did with the sheep that used the N word, and stuff like that, and if you even say "but thats different" you lose your original point, you have to put limits, playing a game isnt about what you want to do, i hacked halo 2, just to face other hackers, because it was more fun that way, but you go on mario kart, get blasted a ton of times, and lose and your record goes to hell, then its just annoying, and this place wont be a place for it

I don't encourage online hacking, I just don't see why you would ban someone for helping someone else out. Just tell people not to abuse the privilege.

the rule is more to stop people from asking than people whom actually give

and trust me, people only want it, to abuse it in some way...

its usually like this

3 people cheat him
he has homebrew channel
now he wants to cheat to get even
its fun to cheat because you basicly will always win
blah blah blah
