Indeed! it worked for me. I had the new 3.3 update and wasnt able to do the twilight hack but using the new homebrew (beta9) i was able to install homebrew. Now the challenge is the downgrade, i'm gonna give it a try.
If you have new 3.3 try deleting the old beta 8 HBC or updating it to beta 9. Try installing cIOS, then try using AnyRegionChanger (most likely it won't work) or Waninkoko's downgrader to see if by some sort of miracle you can downgrade.
But I'll be honest with you, I don't think it'll work. Since you updated, the best thing you can do is wait until someone figures out how to downgrade in new 3.3 without cIOS already installed

I was just stating the obvious .. that Rocketomy gave the best and realistic reply. No matter how many or how LOUD orestaki makes posts .. it won't make any magical fixes appear any faster.
We'll I'm just trying to help, regardless of the situation. But the best thing I can advise orestaki so far is to be patient and wait. I wouldn't be surprised than in less than a few weeks everything would be back to normal.

I think the only way out for those like me on new 3.3 and no prior homebrew is a newer homebrew than the beta9 for us to install wad files and thus install CIOS.
I'll give it a week, probably even less. I can wait... i just play on weekends.
it will have to take a new homebrew to fix it
