Let me explain.
in canada and the u.s.a expensive rooms in hotels have a little black box called lodge net this black box communicates with a server on the ground floor of the hotel to download and play nintendo 64 snes and even nes games the unit allows downloadable videos as well including movies that are still in theaters as well.
Nice huh.
This unit works off the same technology.
There is no real nintendo wii in the stand.
It happens to be just a white box that communicates and downloads games off of a server they have in the hospital once a game is selected and chosen off of the list the console sends a request to the server and starts streaming the games to the fake wii box.
These really are not that new..
And the technology has been around for a long time.

That technology ...yes has been around a long time.....
However.. wiimanwiiman.. your opinion is base on an assumption only...that this is the same system.... ..(no wii in the stand)... you should not state it as a fact..... even though you may be right...it's highly unlikely thanks
UPDATE...August 29th/08
INSIDE the wii stand is a wii with one of the usb ports running a cable with goes into the front of the wii (the wii has no faceplate) to a what seems to be a HDD Drive...
there are also 2 holes drilled into the bottom of the wii with wires coming out of them. going somewhere...
also there are 2 extra leds that I can see...
That is as far as I have be able to see.... my son was back there for a checkup and I had about 5 minutes alone with the wii...(hehe)
