i was able to play a dvd rip of vantage pount but when trying to watch bleach it played but lagged

How do you start the DVD? I tried some of my Commercial DVDs and couldn't figure out how to start them.

no it was a dvd rip in avi format not a DVD, there is no DVD support in this current version do to the limits of wii linux

It does rock, that's for sure. I can read movies files from my USB stick but when I try to play a movie from my USB external drive it allows me to select the movie files but instead of playing the movie it just returns me to the main menu. Any one know anything about is?

I cant even get the fricken wiimote to connect. I'm holding 1 and 2 down toward the end of the boot screen but it will not connect. Tried two different wiimotes. Tried pressing 1 and 2 together after it's booted and sitting at the main menu screen. Any suggestions? Thanks

the blue lights on thw wii mote won't light up. the wiimote will vibrate when it's connected.
just press 1 and 2, not hold.
