the d2pro is still fine for the d2c chipset just dont do the latest firmware update yet, wait for the newer one being released. Or get the older d2pro9 that takes 1.1b I find those work beautiful on the d2c chipset.

But i heard that 1.1 has eject issues and can't play ssbb backup on d2c chipsets or any chipsets.

I have updated to the latest FW 2.1 and i have a D2C-2 before reading this thread. What are the issues? Sory if this was already answered. I haven't seen any difference with my chip and yes my eject issues have disappeared. Maybe this is not for all d2c-2 users. just some

I havent seen it, but 1.4 update fixes the ssbb playback if you do have the issue, though only chipset that i found had ssbb playback issue was d2c2.

Anyways so far the latest firmware seems to be working for most, I will try to test it out when I can
