something with a trucha signature is any channel or disc modded
the "trucha" bug is used to do fake singnatures of nintendo on a DVD or channel
trucha, in chile, means something fake, so the trucha signer is something like "firmador trucho (falso)" or fake signer.
To scrub a wii disk means to delete all the garbage data in the iso, so that it can be compressed to a smaller size.

To patch updates from a game use brick block/wui/wum

To region patch a game use regionfrii/wiu

i personaly use wui and have no problems it has a region patcher and a brick blocker

Since the workaround has been posted, I've updated my tutorial for the WAD Installer. The thread is in the tutorial board!

Greetings all.

I updated to 3.3U from 3.1U. After the upgrade, HBC and WADs previously installed still work nicely. However, some of my backup games cease to work!

Just prior to the update i was playing Pro Evolution Soccer 08, right after the update it just wouldnt work. A black screen with white text would appear saying error and that i've got to eject the disc and restart wii. I restarted and pop the disc back in, now it says system files are corrupt.

So right now I can only play parts of my games collection while others I cant. Original games are working fine tho. My Wii menu is still accessible and there are no duplicate wii channels. Btw, I'm using a D2D mod chip.

Just thought I would share. Any idea what i'm experiencing? :O

that is because they are most likely trucha signed and will need geckoOS to work

Hi guys, where can i get a SOLDERLESS modchip and which one should i get? I have a european wii that was bought on the 29th of February 08, i know where to get the screwdrivers to open my wii, I have the 3.3U update.
Also what are all these risks with the new update? Ive herd some backups dont work. And what are the risks of playing backups? I am hearing all the time about semi-bricked wiis and bricked wiis. What are the precautions i can take?

Thanks guys
