Wii Key Update

Wii Key update to version 1.9s has now been posted at:

This is what has been posted for the update:

This fixes the issue with original SSBB discs not working and it should also no longer be possible to render the chip inoperable by using patched config discs. A new config option to block system updates from DVD is also supported. The 1.9s config discs will be released by the end of this week.

Hi, never actually bothered with an update to the Wiikey before. However this time I think I am going to. I have downloaded the Update and the config disk, both are very small ISO files. Do I just burn them to a DVD, or will a CD do? I seem to remember seeing some posts about earlier updates needing to use a "FileChop" program? Is this neccesary? Are there any instructions anywhere on what to do with both the update and the Config disk for 1.9s?

I was really worried about the future of wiikey after their site when offline. Then there was the new wiid update, and i thought DAMN ... BUT, well they are still in the game.

So, has anybody done the update yet?

Yes the 1.9s update and the 1.4 config works like a charm

there is really no need for the wiikey team to keep their site online when there was no updates needed for the longest time....

they are busy with other chips...d2ckey and d2pro...now others versions soon

however when there is need of an update...the site is on-line again

wiikey has always been alive and well

HI again, not sure if you missed my question above. Did you just burn the smaal iso's for the updates and the config disk, or did you need to do something to expand them to the right size?

they worked fine for me....dl, extract, burn @4X, insert, follow prompts..

quick question Ive downloaded the updates 1.9s and config disk but for some reason when I load the update disk it goes through the process it stops the disk then it asks to hit the a button or reset once done it will load but 100% is reached there is an error saying check again and stops ? does anyone have a problem like this or am i the first?!??!?!!
