... wiikey announcement when the countdown timer counted down to almost zero..was well...nothing yet....

the countdown timer reset itself to 12h 10 m more to go...lol

OK.... at least some of us can sleep now since it was like 2:00 am...lol

@ModderMan, Wow your totally right man. I was just on the forum last night and it was at 6 hours and I was getting excited, but now on Wiikey's site, its at 11 hrs. Maybe a slight delay. LOL.

Hi

It didn't actually get to zero
if you pressed f5 once in a while it went to 35 or so minutes, and then they added 12 more hours to it.

We talked to the team yesterday.
The annoucement is just the annoucment, the product will still take a couple of weeks to come out. They are working on a demo video, and they just wanted everything to be 100% before annoucing.

We can confirm that its not what most people thing (a hardware version of a USB loader)

So its gotta be something pretty cool!

Yeah I wish I knew that they will be resetting the timer cause I stayed up till 4:00AM Central time, waiting to see the specs of it. At lease now I know i can give them a few more days to check it lol.

I have an Argon chip, and it was great for awhile, but a usb loader is SO MUCH MORE CONVENIENT AND SIMPLE. I don't understand why anyone would bother with a chip?

What are the advantages of a chip over a usb loader? What are the disadvantages of the usb loader? Am I missing something here? Seriously!!!???

The only thing I can think of is the 6X disc channel but i just like to have a chip in there in case nintendo finally releases something big enough to stop sofmodding in their tracks. Its highly unlikely, but hey it can happen. Look at the PS3. So far it cant be modded as of now. They might have a chance seeing how they released the slim and it might come with a flaw. So if in the near future nintendo does decide to do that, I will be laughing in the softmodders' faces.
