Very Nice, I have a recomendation tho, make it be able to install a channel to the main menu, that uses the engine to load said games, kinda like a VC game.
This works! And very well done, I might add. I'll never have to get up to swap discs again. All of my originals and backups are going on this thing. No more 349 errors!
I want to thank everybody involved. I've seemed to have misplaced my Smash Bros. disc and now I don't have to repurchase it. Y'all are life savers!
Yo newbie here too... I just purchased my first WII this last christmas.. so I'm positive its not updated to 4 version.. as I finally got it online with my wireless.. and its asking to upgrade my WII.. I of course, clicked cancel..
Can anyone direct me to a perfectly good newb tutorial on how to get the HomeBrew Channel installed, then I need to install this USB thing right?
Of course, after this, I can use an external HDD via USB to WII and place backups on it and load right off this HDD?
Swweeet... tell me its true?
Thanks for help.. I was a pro modder back in the day of Playstation 1 and 2, plus Xbox... but out of scene for many years..
Thanks for this! Hell, I just updated my PSP to CFW 5 and it rox!

Yea I wondered how you loaded the boxart data too.
I'm a bit of a noobie on the wii scene, but I managed to pick up a wii yesterday with 3.0e firmware, I installed the twilight hack, homebrew and some other bits, then updated to 4.0e and was still able to use EOC's guide to downgrade and install Starfall, just thought i'd let ya know - i'm not saying that this will work for everyone, but I think if you have the Homebrew channel pre-installed before an update you will be able to downgrade again!
