yeah stick with a d2pro9 v2 or the wasabi versoin 2...if you get d2pro9 v2 make sure its got the 2.0 firmware flashed as it fixes eject bugs...we sell all of our chips pre flashed with latest firmware

GModz. I too have the GC2-D2C.
I'm thinking about getting the d2pro9 rev2 with wiiclip from you guys. This is solderless, correct? Is it a simple install, just snap on kind of thing?

Do you guys send step by step instructions or have a pdf or video for one to look at so that I don't totally hose my new Wii.

Also do you guys, sell the USB Gecko as well?

    Thanks.

But i heard that if you have a d2c wii and you installed the d2pro9 v2 on it, SSBB won't work on it and 1.4 firmware or higher won't work on it. But if 1.4 firmware fixes the eject issues then all the the d2c 1.3 users would have problems ejecting and 1.4 is supposed to fix the SSBB problem but if a d2c wii got updated to 1.4 then the modchip wouldn't work and then you would have a 85 dollars gone to waste.

And if you downgraded then you would still be experiencing the eject and SSBB issues on 1.3.

    Question

so then we'd be able to play ssbb and eject fine on a D2C v1 wii if the d2pro9v2 is on 2.0 firmware and the wii is on 3.3 firmware?
