GG, look at my boo-boo. Anyone know any re-pair shops?

This is the part of where that brown latch goes (Took it off cuz it broke) that connects your ribbon cable to make the disks spin and eject and stuff. Look at the metal points, it got messed up because I was careless when taking out the old latch. I think my wii is for sure screwed up now. Anyone know if there's a place that can fix this problem?

Actually nevermind, I see it on the right side, there are 2 pins missing..
It would be cheaper & better if you just buy another drive on eBay..
They have them going for $60. not bad at all.. & they are the older models..
D2B, DMS and D2A if you want to keep your laser, all u have to do is exchange the
main board & u are set ..good luck..

its actually still fixable, you would need to route the traces, scrape away with a fibre glass pen to expose the lead, solder the wiring from there to the proper pins (use very thin wire). Doing that should fix it up, but it will be time consuming. Usually we take repairs like this but the cost would be more than just getting a replacement.

Yep, that's why it's just cheaper to buy another Wii drive on eBay

yeah.. here u go.. DMS Drive one of the 1st model drives.. great deal..
And even better you can mod this drive with the WiiKey modchip,
make sure it's a official Wiikey other wise not worth having it as
you wont be able to play the new games such as Mario Galaxy, Mario kart & others..
