Exclamation Cant figure out whats wrong

ok here's my problem, i'm trying to update my wiikey to 1.9s, i've burned so many dvds to no avail, i tried both normal isos and gcos isos but both give me the same thing: i press a to start the test, it tests, then tells me testing failed check your connections and try again.
i have no clue what to do, i've tried it so many times and get the same result.
also when i put the config disc the block updates option is off, when i put it on and save the settings and then go back to check it it's still off. does this part have to do with the fact that i need to update the wiikey first.

    please help me thanks

This is what I would do, unsolder the WiiKey entirely, using lots of flux, then clean the board off with isopropyl alcohol (can be found at cvs/walgreens etc for like $1) make sure all solder points are clean, plug console in to test workingness, if it works, you did something right. Next, clean the chip off with alcohol, then use flux on all solder points, just a dab on each spot will be fine, then put a bead of solder on each point, not too much, not too little. then same with WiiKey points, then flux a little bit more, and reconnect points with whatever method your using, turn console on to verify it reads an original game, get 1.3 config disc burned, put 1.3 config disc in to console, turn region override on, then reset console. I started with 1.9b update, then 1.9g, then 1.9s without any problems, I imagine you can skip the first two discs, but I like to cover all my bases, make sure you test, then press reset button to flash. If it doesn't say fail, then its a success, once you hear homers voice on the first update disc you should be good to do all updates without problems.

My oly suggestion to that would be to find an experienced modder in your area, or I am at your service for installation. Ask around on the forums for a modder in your area, best of luck.
