Anyone have info on Wii's with Serial# LU1059*****

I bought a Wii a few days ago, and want to chip it. The Serial# starts with LU1059******. Has anyone seen this before and ultimately can I chip it. I can't find any info on this system and board.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Try the above link. Just enter your serial number and it will tell you wot chip you are likely to have.

    thanks robbie

I tried that and it came up with

"Your Drive Chip is most likely GC2-D2C.

Your Drive Pins are most likely not cut."

Now is that good news or bad news???

I'm a total noob to wii stuff.

I bought a used Wii that is 4 months old and hardly used. I will return my newly bought one. Now I will put the Wiikey in this one.

    Thanks for your help
