I have a 360 and plan on buying a Wii later next year some time. The 360 is fun, and quite the powerhouse, and can do many other cool things besides. But the Wii looks like a lot of fun too, and as others said, more family oriented.

Well, that pretty much sums it up. It's the same for me. I use the 360 for games I want the sweet graphics (such as COD3 or shooter up games or maybe some sport games.) The Wii is more for a party game. I mean my friends are just addiction with the sport game and that comes free with the unit. LOL

I went for the Wii console just because of the fun factor and the games that the whole family can enjoy.
But i might buy a 360 when Fable 2 is out

i had a 360 that got the fabled 3 red light error sold it all on ebay games, broken console the log and replaced it with a wii. then M$ announced they were fixing the 3 red light error for free.. GRRRRRRRRRRR
on the upside i got a wii. the 7 year old son loves it, so does the GF who never played the 360 at all, on the downside one of the controllers straps snapped on the wii and the son managed to crack the LCD panel in my 26" TV so was without one for a week or two while the insurance sorted themselves out.
For high end gaming now (not that i have much time for it) i have my pc which is high spec that i do all my gaming on (quad core, 4gb ram etc) and the games are much cheaper.

I have all next gen consoles, And the one that gets the most time is the 360 just because most of the next gen games are coming to 360 and PS3 and Usually 360 games here are cheaper and they look better (although ps3 is catching up) as for the wii, its on a whole different level, I don't like it yet except for zelda and wii sports with the family but thats all

I had both (recently sold the 360)
I just find the Wii more entertaining, but i could spend more time on the 360.
Wii sold me on the multiplayer aspect, get a few mates around and chuck on some Wii sports FTW
