Did you buy Halo 3
Well I bought the legendary edition of Halo 3, which I did not open. I downloaded the game as well, and rented it today to play it a bit on live. All in all, more of the same, just prettier. I was right about them not selling out, they didn't even sell out of the legendary edition in most stores. The local best Buy had over 1000 copies of the regular, special edition and legendary edition combined. Don;t get me wrong, alot of people bought it, but there were plenty to go around. The best thing this game has going for it is that the Live community will be swamped so matches will be nearly constant. Sadly there is no native mouse/keyboard support, however there is an add-on that allows you to plug them into the usb port. Sadly even if you have usb peripherals you need to have this add-on, which I found online for about 20 bucks. Was the legendary edition worth it? Yeah, i was able to snag it for $85.00 so it was worth it for me to have a nice little collector's item for only 25 bucks more than what the game generally retails for. Probably not worth $130.00 however I saw plenty of people picking those up as well. For all of us who have purchased this game, we will see each other on live!

If you are looking into buying it just for the LIVE content, I sincerely suggest waiting a few months to buy it used for 40 bucks or less. So many people bought this game... and I think many will be disappointed, however there is a large enough community that will be on live that I don't think it will die if you waited a few months to try and snag it for cheap. If you are buying it for the story mode, I highly suggest either downloading it or getting a rental. REALLY not worth the 60+ bucks depending on the edition you buy for the story mode. Literally the same game as 1 and 2, with improved graphics. I am not sure why I ever would expect more from a sequel, but I do

Well i'm sure it's improved in some way besides graphic's and etc.
It's just like any other game.
Like the gameboy zelda games,it started out as loz la and then
Oos and Ooa then into the minish cap.
So many ppl liked the other halo games on thought
hey new enemys levels hey a new game!

I played the first level of Halo 3 at my cousins last night and i must say it was nothing great. Also are the prices that you guys listed all in US$ because over here in Aus most 360 and PS3 games cost between $105/$120 and the Legendary edition of Halo 3 i beleive cost around the 200 something mark.
