Sorry for late reply, but I didn't realize you sent a message. Yes, you can update the shop channel, but you probably all ready did by now, I know that it has been updated in the first 4.2 update, then updated again. I downloaded it from a post by ShadowSonic, can't remember where it was though.

Do not update the shop channel thru nintendo, there is an alternate method of doing that.

Can I update for wii shop channel on 4.2?? I update with no downgrading or nothin... is it safe for mine???
