    Jtag is a chip programmer that connects to the modchip via a ribbon cable on one end and the a PC via USB on another end. Then appropriate hardware update is carried out.

    Both chips a popular, they do the same thing. It is up to you to decide if the Jtag programmer capability is something you want in a chip, if so then D2Pro9 would be your choice otherwise Wasabi.

    Yes you would require a Dual-layer burner to burn image to DVD+R DL disc. ImgBurn allows you to set the layer break from its options settings.

    Even though on your Wii settings you will just see 3.3U, it will be 3.3Urev2 if you updated on or after October 23rd, if you have not updated then I would recommend you hold off.
