modderman said you may be able to help me. I have a modified Wii that is semi bricked where I cannot get rid of the Japanese weather and news icon. It connects to the internet but those channels are not working. I downloaded the wii-system-menu-update-USA-v289.iso and the wii would not read it. I tried several different ways to burn it and still kept getting the black screen telling me the file is corrupt. Can you please help.
