on 3.3v2+ trucha gets blocked, when you get a full original game, since its the same as the real deal, its nintendo signed, once you edit it, it loses the nintendo seal, and gain a trucha seal, that is ANY EDIT, no matter what it is, scrubed, removing updates, changing updates, etc
if you get animal crossing you can get a game, change the update for 3.2 via wii update manager, then get get wad manager for homebrew channel, then install IOS updates, and run animal crossing on 3.2 or if you never plan on playing out of region, you have NO REASON, to edit a game, so its safe, if you do, then keep on 3.2 but you can boot via gecko OS, but i dont know how long that will last
you can patch the update on 3.3, but its via homebrew channel, and its not really advised since you lose some homebrew powers, so yeah...
Hi, Thanks for helping out all of us newbies! I am still confused on something though. I have a modded Wii I just recieved and its on firmware 3.1U with the homebrew channel installed. If I do not want to use any homebrew, can I just get Animal Crossing and update the firmware to 3.4? If so, will my backups still work? What if wiibrickblocker was used on an ISO with firmware 3.3 or greater?
I am from the USA and will only be using USA-NTSC ISO's. So before I actually burn them, do I still need to use wiibrickblocker if its from the same region and I will not be using any homebrew?
Finally, what does a TRUCHA signed game mean and if I would use wiibrickblocker on an ISO, does it then become a TRUCHA signed game and will that work on firmware 3.3+?
