i followed the tutorial exactly like it said and i did it twice but when i use Mymenu to make a mym file, first i pick the 00000087.app ntsc-u for 4.2u and a matrix.mym file thats 4.1. When i click "Create MyMenu!" it comes up with a "FATAL ERROR" Script Fail.
    Am i doing it wrong?

My best suggestion is to give it up. Wiihacks does not support themes, the op and sole supporter of this thread hasen't posted here in over 2 months.

I would recommend you have bootmii/boot2 and Priiloader installed if you're going to play with themes.

From what I understand the .app files are decrypted so after putting the generated key.bin in same folder of NUSD, check the checkbox that says decrypt before clicking "Start NUS Download!"

Stomp is entirely correct, as usual --- wiihacks does not support theme mods. Why? Because it's the fastest way to brick your Wii short of stubbing or uninstalling your menu IOS. Closed thread, as OP is inactive. Shortly to be moved to archived section...
