The first feature has been available in Japan for ages and it looks like they're bringing it to Europe.

I too noticed the update. The Shop Channel has been updated to v18. So even if one were on 4.2, they may be prompted to still update.

Bring this to america, i want free VC games that are actually legal. That way I can bring them o a friends house and they work off my sd card without hacks.
