    No Europe Wii Price Drop?

Not seen this one posted yet:

Rumor: No Euro Wii price cut, new bundle to include both Wii Sports games, MotionPlus

Just like we saw earlier this year with the PlayStation 3 Slim, the rumor mill is churning at breakneck pace -- though this time around a possible Nintendo Wii price cut rather than a slimmer console. Aside from multiple retailer listings and today's alleged internal Best Buy memo, MCV reports that a "retail source" told it the UK won't be receiving the same price cut that North America and Japan are expected to receive. Instead, the current model will be given the bundle treatment.

GamesIndustry.biz spotted the new bundle on ShopTo.net -- it has since been removed, though an image and a shell of the page still exist -- which includes both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort as well as a MotionPlus attachment, for the same 199.99 ($326.76) the system is priced at now. If it is true, at least UK Wii buyers will be getting a bit more for their pounds. It's not quite the Duck Hunt/Super Mario Bros. with a Zapper combo of yore, but it'll have to do.

Always been the same. I remember even back in the old C64 days that US versions carried the same figure in dollars as in pounds, despite the often large difference in exchange rates.

I hear that Windows 7 will be cheaper in the UK than in the US though, so that's something at least.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Only because M$ is sucking up to the Anti-trust courts over their. And I never understood why stuff is more expensive over their, I know the exchange rate has something to do with it but would it make it less in pounds and euros? Is their like a higher import tax or something?

Well I've decided I will pay no more for Windows 7 than the same price I paid for XP. 1x DVD-R.

I don't think we'll ever know. Maybe it's just an opportunity for the companies to make fast buck.

Disgusting. A Windows 7 download should come with a free DVD-R.

Tealc I was in your camp till i installed the beta and rc of windows7 it is going to be the first OS I buy since windows 95. I think it is a simply brilliant os and i want to encourage M$ to make more quality products.

The US commercials for Windows 7 are spot on... My happy is almost here and its windows 7.
