Having issue with bakups. [Dont know where this should be posted.]

So i just softmodded my wii , using the guides given here.and put some backups on a Wii HDD. Great right?
So i start playing them, and one after another no mater the USB loader used each one gets STUCK on a loading screen. Its so random when it happens too one minute i can play the game for an hour then it sticks then i cant even load the game itself the next minute because it sticks on one of the title screens.
Ive looked every where and found nothing on this issue!
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

I can think of a few solutions that may work for this problem:

1. Re-rip the game

2. Try using another format for your HDD (WBFS, FAT32 or NTFS) - btw which one are you currently using?

3. Is your main cIOS (249 I think) up to date? Try getting a newer version.

Sounds like an issue with the HDD. Did you check it was on the compatibility list?

But if the game is recognized and can sometimes run for a while, doesn't that mean that the HDD is compatible?

Or are there some semi-compatible HDDs?

1. It dont think that would be the issue, since its not just one game the problem is occuring with. this has happened with about 7 different games.
2. I use WBFS Manager 3.0 so i think the HDD is now WBFS but before i used it was FAT32

Im not sure if it is up to date. I jsut used the guides i stated and didnt change anything else.
How would i check to see if it is up2date or not

Some HDD's like the usb 3.0/2.0 one's are still being tested, and may not be on the list. And may have sleepmode/spindown issues.

If your HDD has a sleep node or something (some do after being inactive for a while) you will need to disable it.

Usually you can do this by opening the software that came with it and configuring your HDD. Try looking in your settings.

That my be the issue I didnt know externals Hard drives went to sleep. How would i found out if it did? I dont have any software for it.

Is your HDD on the list bmarlo linked to?

Try googling for problems with this particular HDD.

My HDD is on the okay list, its the seagate 120gb Im guessing the issue is, and hoping it is, that my HDD goes to sleep mode.

Since i dont have any software for it how can I make it stop goig to sleep mid game playing?
