    I've heard about Seagate HDDs on particular having sleep modes.

    Do as cjizzle said - there's no harm in trying, right?

    seagate manager, default is usually set at 15mins. change it to never, job done. just an opinion you see.

    i got the manager and installed it -_- it can't "See" my HDD. this is annoying -__-
