At this point the only games I play on Wii are Tatsunko vs. Capcom, Castle of Shikigami and Xenoblade. I watch movies on PS3 or stream them from my PC. So yeah, our Wii is loosing it's funfactor for me. I may buy a bit trip complete when it comes out this Tuesday. Our Wii is pretty much for our daughter's to play their dancing games lol.

I think the wii is more fun for shooter or interactive games, but the quality of the video is a huge turn off for me since I switched to ps3. Even streaming video you can't stream 1080p. The wii would burst into flames if you tried even if it had an HDMI connection. Sports games are more fun and games like Resident Evil 4, or other shooters, but for quality video and sound the wii can't shake a stick at the competition. I like the creativity put into some games with the use of the wiimote, but I really wish they'd step up the AV in the Wii-U

i can imagine that..my girlfriend hated on me after my first 360 broke and i bought a ps2 with the entire xenosaga collection and i played non stop everyday.... i went back a generation of video games just to enjoy that masterpiece which i still own.

At one point but I learned the possibilities opened up by softmodding it. I'm no longer limited to just Wii and GameCube, I'm happy to have turned my Wii into a NES, SNES, Genesis and Gameboy. Not to mention being able to play movies and TV shows off it now.

My wii basically became a paperweight these past 2 years. Back in 2009 I softmodded it and it was great...but unfortunately it kinda lost it's appeal...then I changed the case from white to black and added a mod chip. I would occasionally turn it on to try games I rented from gamefly to see if I liked them but I never really got back into it. Although I still buy games I plan on playing, right now they're just kinda sitting on the shelf waiting to be played lol. The wii took a backseat to my xbox and ps3 (mainly xbox)

But now, it's the other 2 systems that are gathering dust lol. I managed to get the PAL version of Xenoblade Chronicles and every night I can I'm playing that game. Might keep going with the wii games since i've held off for too long. (I've owned Metroid Prime 3, Super Paper Mario, Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 since their release and still haven't played them....and now not to mention Skyward Sword sitting in my shelf also).
