    On Day 6...

    So Im on Day 6 of being smoke free after a pack an a half to a pack a day! It got a little easier but im still dying! lol. Any good tips from any other ex smokers?

    I'm no good with cold turkey. I need something to take the edge off when I quit. Don't compensate your smoking with eating and try to stay away from drinking until you have kicked the habit are two good tips I have. Both can be hard to do though. Exercise is supposed to help but ever time I would exercise during the quitting process I would just want to smoke twice as hard after.

    Yeah I went for a run and the craving doubled! Im avoiding drinking already... Eating seems to be my only vice right now.. lol.. Im gonna get fat..

    Patches are good but you need will power. I did the bigger thing of giving beer up for 9 months lol

    Don't smoke myself but a couple of guys from work got something called champix, u get no cravings as it nullifies the part that craves. 2 of them give up for 12months now an the guy i work with at the moment 2 months and said he cant believe he never did it b4, an these are heavy smokers
