I Almost Became Rich

This has got to be one of the worst, if not the worst day of my life. I absolutely mean it, lol. Let me tell you what makes me so sad.

So, in The Netherlands, we have a sort of competition where you can win big prices. They can go up to 30 million euros. And today, a price has been won by our street, which is 15 million euros! However, you had to have a ticket to win the price. Now, I've always participated in this competition, but Ive never been the lucky guy to win something. I used to buy quite a lot of tickets, but recently I stopped participating. These tickets were too expensive, and I simply lost money, even though it was 1 euro a ticket. So, today, if I had bought a ticket, I would've been frickin' rich. There were only two people participating in our street, so they're gonna share 15 million euros. If I participated, I would've won 5 million euros today. Can you believe this?

If you're wondering if this is an April Fools joke, no it's absolutely not. I am really not kidding you. This has really happened! I feel so stupid right now, lol. So, so stupid... The idea I could've won so much money today. But, life goes on, and it's not gonna be any worse because of this. :cool: It just really stinks, that's all I can tell you, haha!

You would have shared money with me if you won... right?

I would be so so gutted if that happened to me but fair play to you pal you have a good spirit( either that or you have drunk alot of spirits so it wouldn't bother you lol)never mind it just wasn't meant to be. Beware though they say bad luck come's in three's hope you dont have anymore bad luck

i remember i put a bet on the football and i picked 15 teams to win payed £1.00 the winnings were over £10000.00 but 1 team let me down the drew 1-1 proper gutted lol

Too bad, wiihacks could really have used the 5 million donation of you :P I suppose it was the postcode lotterij? I believe they are the only ones in which the whole street wins. Still statistically seen you made the right choice. You just had very, very bad luck.

Least you still have your Health!!!! (if you where dying all the money in world wouldn't mean anything)

What sort of lottery is this? I googled the postcode lottery, but the prizes weren't quite that much...
