Who cares? If the person is rude, ignorant, or too stupid to follow instructions ignore them and let them sort their problems out themselves. They probably could anyways if they would just read through the wealth of knowledge on this site and put two and two together. All I can say is don't let it bother you. It's just the internet. I still don't get showing actual emotions and getting worked up over stuff on the internet but that probably comes from my roughly two decades of tolling the internet.

Understandable when it's for yourself or own reasons. I'm the same way. I have no problem ignoring others problems and stupidity, especially if they bother me along the way. But then again I'm enough of a jerk IRL to walk away from someone I consider stupid, boring, or whatever mid conversation or just stand there for a while listening, give them a dumbfounded look, not respond, and then walk away.

My boss used to exploit that when I had a summer job at the SGU Helpdesk. Whenever there was an issue that was important enough to investigate, but would take more time than she had, she (or someone else) would casually mention it to me. If it sparked my interest, I would get so obsessed with finding the answer that I would spend my lunch hour and all my time after work researching until I solved it.
    Amen, brother.

    Oh no,
    now narse is demanding help

So what would be the answer to this madness?
Just have the mods close the threads so they cant wine anymore?
Or just walk away? (figuratively, (from the thread) not the site)
See the Thanks button over there?

There really is no answer, some people will feel compelled to help no matter how rude or ingorant. Others like darkcide already ignore people they find worthless. You just have to pick what you want to do an go with it.

And then some of us will point out the illogic (more commonly known as FAIL) to others --- or even worse, the total lack of information (example: "My Wiis broke. What's wrong with it/how can I fix it?")

It's the nature of the beast (this forum and the transience that comes with it --- not for us, but for ADHD sufferers that can't be bothered to reply/post back/edit).
