    Question [HDD] Seeking Advice

I have a hard drive, it isn't very old. I bought it fairly recently, though it is not in the compatibly list. The name of the brand of the HDD is zData, I do not think that they are a very large company, so I took a guess that they would not be in the USB compatibly list.

I didn't think that it would be in the list anyway, because it probably wasn't tested.

I would like to know if >this< HDD is compatible with the Wii; I would really like to know before I try to format it, because I still use it for mass storage.

    Thanks in advance.

take a look yourself here is the link http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...lity-list.html if its not on it format it at FAT32 you can put anything on it and you can test if it is successful then add it to the list by posting the model etc on the thread

    Thank you for the reply,

I will be sure to test that out actually; I thought that the items on the list were the only USB devices that worked with the Wii. I guess they have to be tested at some time; what factors are involved with how a device reacts with the system? (RPM, Storage Size, etc.).
