Huh? I believe we all like Wii modding or we wouldn't be here. As far as what I enjoy most other than the obvious USB loading would probably be the emulation end of things. I can't help it...I love emulation and have since back in NESticle days.

true but you get most ppl modding there wii for 1 reason not just to mod it but the big word piracy but you right on that that the majority of ppl are here because they enjoy it. ye i enjoy the emulaters aswell nothing better than haveing a go of the old classic games lol thanks for your post

I don't think most people mod their Wii just for piracy...Not that it isn't a factor. Otherwise there wouldn't be a homebrew community. If someone were concerned only about playing pirated games they would probably just chip it like they've been doing forever. A softmodded Wii is way more versatile than just playing backups. That's probably why some people with a chipped Wii still softmod their system.

I didn't softmod for piracy. I did it for protection. I have 2 daughters (age8 and 2). I also have a handful of rowdy friends. Do i trust them with a $40-$50 disc? I did...once. I can keep my games safe and put away.
I'm also stoked with the emulation stuff. Megaman 2 for NES? Incredible!!
