    DJ Hero for $39.99

I was a Kmart yesterday and saw a few DJ Hero packages in the clearance section for $39.99. What I was wondering is - Is this game any good?

I really don't see many post here about it, except for one I can remember that stated it was hard for kids to play. I know this game was about $100 at release, then a while back it was $50 at Toy-R-Us, and now I see it for $40, it looks to me like this game isn't doing so well.

Can anybody give any input on this game?

The game is awesome. I'm sure it's because the new one is coming out in two weeks so they are clearing out old stock. It seems like whenever they release a new music game with peripherals you can get a good deal on the the last game of the series and find them at clearance places like Big Lots. I would say snag it while you can.

Ok, just wondering. Yea, I thought that $40 for a game and the controller was a good price, but I didn;t want to get a dud of a game that would just collect dust.

After I saw that $40 price tag I wandered over by the games and saw a $60 price tag on GH6, my eyes about popped out of my head, $60 FOR A WII GAME, I thought I paid a lot for GH metallica at $50 new.

I admit I loved DJ Hero and I am very excited for 2 to come out. The one thing I will say is that the novelty wore off fast playing it alone. If you did not already pick it up, It may be worth it not only to get a feel for the game, but to have the turntable already for when 2 comes out, as they are adding mic support, which could be quite the novelty into itself. I keep meaning to break out my turntable and play again, but I always seem to find something else better to do, but none of my friends play games like this anymore it seems, so there is no competition.

I am addicted because it is more interactive than the other music games. It requires more concentration and coordination than playing the guitar or drums in other music games. I'm hoping they'll improve on the guitar/turntable mode this time. That's the only part my wife will play with me. She won't touch the turntable but she likes playing the guitar. I think the microphone being implemented into the second is supposed to be more of a novelty though right? I don't think it is going to judge you on pitch and tone like other music games but allow you to fake hype the crowd while you are fake DJing.
