Looking back, What was/is your favorite gaming system?

I don't know about anyone else here, but the Wii is not my first videogame system. I grew up with all flavors if Nintendo products (among others). As I sat looking at my life-long collection of my past consoles, I challenged myself to come up with my favorite. Not favorite for multi-player, favorite for games, or favorite for nostalgia. It was harder than I thought it would be. To my suprise, I ended up with the N64. If I had to take one system with me to an island forever, that would be it. I'm not trying to upset people by not choosing the Wii, (don't flame me!), but it was my choice. I have better memories of that system than any others I see in my garage. I might hook it up for fun again!! Games, graphics(for the time), and incredibleness(probably not a word, but it fits) of the remote control. Remember how much fun it was to destroy your best friend at Goldeneye007? I do, and I will never forget. Thanks for listening to my ramblings, chime in if you'd like to. I wanna hear others thoughts!!

Original NES FTW!!!!!!!!!!!! I dominate Super Mario Brothers 3.... I'm still partial to atari though. Sometimes my friends and I will drink a beer or 10 and play old atari games trying to get the best score.

Do you still have ALL of your old systems? I kept all of mine 'cept PS2. I felt like a nugget for storin them all these years, but when I dust one off to play it, totally worth the trouble.

Yup have them all. Atari, NES, SNES, Sega, PS2, Wii, PS3. Never had a n64 or ps1. I'm more of an oldschool guy. I'll never get rid of my nes.

I briefly had my NES and 'bout 40 games on craigslist to get cash to buy an ipod. I had it listed for $500!! I guess I didn't really want to let it go! Glad I didn't. BTW, I had zero responses

Commodore 64 was my first, favorite computer --- followed by the Commodore Amiga. Then the PC, the Wii...

Back when I was young, we had pong lol. Back in the days of 8 track, reel to reel, and lp. My cousins had one of the first atari systems and an intellevision. I would go visit them just to play that stuff. After that, noone really did much for games outside the arcade until nintendo came along. By then I was in high school and the price was kinda out of reach. When I finally got my first apartment, I got a nintendo and never imagined things would evolve to the point they are today.
Sent from my van, down by the river.

Commodore 64 was first, then sega master system quickly followed by the nes.
Had a sega mega drive but never really enjoyed it like my nes.Later came ps1
and ps2 and now the Wii. So im tied for favourite which is nes and Wii.

Believe it or not, even as oldschool as I am, I loved my dreamcast. Still do as a matter of fact, just ordered another one the other day. Don't know why but this system means a great deal to me.
