As a musician, i have gone through alot of phases growing up. I mainly like new age jazz and instrumental music, especially guitar. Here is the type of sound i like.

I think the lydian mode reminds me of flying or something.

There are many videos I'd love to post as I jump around on what I listen to quite a bit. As for this I've always been a jazz fan/player and I come and go into Michael Jackson phases, so this seemed a nice choice.

Very nice. I remember being a metal head in the 80's then going through the neoclassical stage after studying randy rhoads and hearing yngwie malmstien, but jazz is where i found a peaceful place to rest my spirit.

Oh dude then this should bring back some "good" memories.

But seriously my absolute favorite stuff always stems out of jazz. Even in today's music pop, rock, whatever, I can still hear the influence coming out of some of those old records from the 20's and 30's.

Edit: Okay I decided to edit rather than keep making new posts, I could go all day posting videos lol. I had to add this one, I wish I could get my sound closer to the tenor player in this video. It's such an electrified sound, I love it:
