Can the Wii potentially be hacked similar to the DS? - Wiihacks

Hi there.

Although there are now solderless options of Wii hacking, I am looking for something even simpler, if such an option exists.

As many know, the Nintendo DS can be modded via r4ds to play roms downloaded from the internet.

Do you guys think it is possible for the Wii to be modded in a similar manner?

Your opinion and thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Yes, No, May be! Who knows. People out there could do crazy things just matter of time. But a wii game = 4gb + so putting it on a memorycard seen kinda insufficient unless you can make wii read external usb storage devide than that'll be really great. No laser harm like the ps 2 or xbox.

FTPii is just to transfer files. It won't launch anything.
