    Thats why I asked how to do it! So I guess you just switch to IOS 222 in the global settings...

    Prior even to ripping it yes... cIOS 249 (Rev X) --- when they say dual layer support is broken, this means even for ripping. Yes to answer.

    Selecting IOS 222 in the global settings before ripping the game does not make any difference.

    Then it's something else. I do know some Wiis had trouble playing dual layer games, we're talking non-modded/completely stock Wiis; perhaps this is your problem...

    My Wii plays the original disc fine.
    Just reinstalled it using 1:1 mode and it works fine from HD now. The normal rip must leave out the fmv which caused it to crash or something.

    Yeah but in my case I didn't use 1:1 mode and it worked fine. Glad you got it sorted.
