What would be the best way for me to check exactly what I have?

Did you softmod your wii or just put homebrew channel alone on it?

I actually made a folder in the apps file and named it WADManager and 1.5 loaded, but it is given me the following error.

[+] Retrieving file list... ERROR! (ret = -1)

How do I fix this error?

I have a wad folder in the root of the sd card where apps folder is and put the wads in it. I have heard having more then 1 internet connection could cause it so I removed all but the first one. I also heard formatting the card or trying a new one may work and did that. I have tried several things to no avail. Please anyone let me know if there is a sure fire way of fixing this as I want to put the internet browser on my Wii, but cant until I fix the update.

The file structure should be this.

SD\apps\wad manager, wad manager .dol in here

    SD\wad, wads go in here.

USB loader GX needs unstubbed cIOS 222 v4 or 249 v9.
    I found

    249 0
To figure out how to get some cIOS action going on
in your wii and come back too me."
