    make your own external hard drive

    hi guys i have a sata hard drive in my old pc,would it be possible to buy a hard drive enclosure and use this for playing wii games of using usb?

    You can use it as an external hard drive bu using usb BUT not all drives are compitable with the wii.

    If you find the right enclosure, then yes.

    It's the enclosure that's important in this case, an incompatible enclosure will not work no matter which drive you put in it, however a compatible enclosure will work no matter what drive you put in it.

    ok thanks guys,was looking at cheap enclosures on ebay but guess your better buying a branded enclosure?

    what i ham trying to do is transfer all my games from 1 hdd to my new 1 both are formated ok
    could any 1 help

    By formatted OK, if you mean both are WBFS-formatted then use the CLONE button in WBFS Manager.

    DONT BUY A CHEAP ONE FROM EBAY!! lol.. i did was 7 and when i connected it to my Wii i got loads of lines all over the screen.. spent 20 on another one and its fine now..

    buy cheap, buy twice... as they say..
