Does anyone else get this program buffering for 20/30 seconds?

Depending on the length of the video I am watching and what format the video is...mpegs seem to take longer than avi's but I haven't tried any other really.

20 seconds is a bit longer than I would expect though.

If you are playing mp4 or .h246 files, the wii can not handle that kind of files. The largest file size that i have been sucessfully played is around 1.87gb. Its best to play files that are in avi format. It can play rm videos but sometimes it has trouble playing the newly rm created videos. or you can check to see if you have the latest version which is 0.75

Cool, just confirming my suspisions. Doesnt always take that long for me sometimes straight away. AVI's are working the quickest. I love watching stuff straight from my HD, beats messing with DVD's and coveting etc. Is there any program better than this one at the moment? I would love it if someone created a program for DVD's but in the form of USB Loader GX...

Nothing like a good old bit of coveting LOL

You could try Geexbox, I was hooked on that for a while but prefer MPlayer CE now myself with a forwarder channel it is only a couple of clicks into the video list.

I think a USB Loader GX style video player would be awesome also, with the option to put DVD covers and stuff like that on a menu. Yes please.
