Guitar Hero Drum set questions

Could somebody that owns the Guitar Hero Drums please tell me of the build quality. When I go to Game Stop and ask if they have any used GH drums, NO is always the answer. Game Stop says that they break easily and do not deal with the drums sets for RB and GH. So, before I go and purchase a whole GH set, I would like to know if the drums will stand up to any kind of abuse.

EDIT - And does anybody know if there's a difference between the World Tour and GH5 Drum set?

Think I'll go buy a guitar hero set, I see the world tour is selling for about $100. I looked on the activision web site and they are selling the drums alone for $100.

The drum set is pretty good. But for me, the yellow and orange cymbal pads broke. The shop I bought it from replaced the cymbals, but now i play very carefully

I've had my drums for about 2 weeks now. I bought them used for 25$ (with shipping, it was 45$), and im a prety fierce drummer, they hold up REALLY well.
The legs are made of metal (they look like plastic but they are not), the structure looks bad, but its actualy VERY stable.
The foot pedal can be a problem, but its actualy beter than the RB1 pedal. Ive beat the s**t out if it (not with hammer literaly, but harsh playing), Heel-Toe works great on them. 2 feet 1 pedal is tricky (almost beat Fade to Black on Expert+ with that trick, stupid epic solo)
Rebound of the drums (never played real drums) are amazing. Unlike the RB1 rebound witch theres almost none at all. The rebound is amazing, makes hitting rolls easyer. Its using a spongey like thing for the pads so they feel sturdy.
There may be sensitivity flaws in the cymbals, but nothing like a good ol' piece of tape on the sensor to fix that. Or pay an extra 120$ for the GoodWood's Mods (ZOMG BEST PADZ EEVAR!!! (wish i had some :P))

Dont EVER listen to gamestop employees. They are un educated in gaming in all ways.
Theres the Xbox fanboy who thinks xbox is teh bestorz and rapes all the other consoles up the @$$.
The dumb@$$'s who dont know jack s**t about where there working, asking, and/or talking about.
theres a few others, cant remember all of them. I dont have a gamestop where i live so it sucks.
So dont listen to them at all.
