When you softmod your Wii you will be able to play backup games and change region settings as well, check [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] To see what's the best for you, but I recommend you [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] It's very easy to perform and it will help you to mod your Wii if it has System Menu 3.1 to 4.1
DO NOT UPDATE TO 4.2 if you haven't done it yet.
