    Since you tried another SD card in the computer. The reader is your issue. Buy a new one.

The thing that leads me to believe this is the card you think is damaged works in 2 devices (your wii and your camcorder), You stated you tried to put another SD card in the computer's reader and it gave you the same result as the SD you use for the wii.

    BUY A NEW READER!

    dont think so it works fine without the card in an the usb ports work fine

    You stated you used another card and got the same result. If you don't believe it to be the reader then uninstall the reader and reinstall it.

    it is an internal reader but i got it figured out you were kinda right and kinda wrong
    i inspected the reader physicaly and found that one of the "prongs" inside was mangled luckly im prety good with this kinda stuf so after some solder and a few cigs it works perfectly thanks for all the help (this kinda help is hard to come by in other forums)

    now back to my wii thanks again folks
