Please Help! Extracting game save files and Wii Shopping Channel

Right here goes. I had Homebrew running no prob, then it asked to update it which I done but after that it would not load up. Whether or not it was the right thing I got it reinstalled. The thing is when that was done it wiped all of the game save files and everything.

I managed to get the internet channel back by installing the wad file as I had a copy of the contents of the sd card before it went wrong.

Now I have just three probs that I need some help with...

1. The Shopping Channel will not load up, just black screens and crashes. I think I just need to update this but the file extension is rar so do I just change the file extension to wad and install that?

2. Are the game save files accessible to pull back thru from the sd card somehow. Not really bothered about any of my games other than Wii fit as all the others were kids games.

3. Can I recover my Mii's as these were lost too but from my reading I prob think not?

Your help would be much appreciated.

well if you copy your wii fit game to that sd card then i think that you should be able to recopy the save file back to wii by going to the wii menu and then the save manager and just copying it back over.

Not really sure how you mean. My wii memory itself is all wiped and all I have is a copy of the sd card files on my pc....??

the 512mb chip inside the wii. that holds the channels, settings, ios's etc.

a .rar needs to be extracted using a brilliant little program called WINRAR.

all save files have a unique id, and cannot be copied freely from one wii to another.

heres a link to the wads for the latest shop channel, but that will soon be obselete when the 4.1 update comes out in NTSC-U and PAL territories.

Had homebrew working perfectly on my 3.2U console, however it seemed to crash on me when I loaded the IOS51 and ShopChannel. After the download was complete TV screen went blank and Wiimote turned off. Had to hard boot my system to get it back up and running however HBC selection continues to crash to blank screen. If it matters I was looking to get the Wii Shopping Channel working so that I can also download tunes for GH World Tour. Will I require a reinstall of HomeBrew channel ?Thanks to all that can help in advance !
