Im gonna mod my wii with a modchip but i dont know which one to get so..Which one do you recomend to get i want the best modchip there is and it needs to be able to do updates.

Why would you want to install a mod chip when you can mod your wii without one. There is not much you cant do with a soft mod...

i also agree that softmodding is more than sufficient for my needs, but some others users
do say they are much better. i suppose softmodding is a kind of pseudo-chip but im sure other users will inform us of the benefits of a real chip.

Chips are good if you brick your wii from softmoding. That new WODE chip looks cool as it supports loading from usb.

I brought a wassabi dx, it works great but only runs at 3x since my wii is newer. Since I learned about usb loading at higher speeds I have softmoded my wii. Softmoding has many more features, my kid turns on the wii and it boots strait to the usb loader with 50+ games for him to play- all on the screen and a click away.
