Why dont wii get more of the cooler games

This year WWE Wrestling Legends and Streetfighter comes out and neither are for Wii. Streetfighter puzzles me since it was an original Nintendo game and now not offered on Wii.

I wish all systems had the same games and the same features. I am sick of PS3 and Xbox360 getting all the games and then even they are different in features offered on the games.

they are moving in the right direction but a lot of these game companies know they can mak a game sell it for $60 on ps3 and xbox 360 and not worry about wii cause enough people own ps3 and xbox to make them rich.

......... have you played any of the recent Wii exclusives?

    Deadly Creatures
Pretty good game. I liked it a lot. You follow the story of a murderous pair of rednecks as a scorpion and a tarantula in the desert and along the way you fight different animals that live in the desert until you finally confront the humans.

    House of the Dead Overkill
Just like the oldskool zombie-blasting arcade game, but with added features that make it living-room friendly. The game allows saving at the end of the stages so you don't have to start over every time you quit. You also don't have to keep pushing quarters into the damn game when you die.

Streetfighter was not an original Nintendo game. Capcom wrote the games.

I had a talk with someone who used to work at Epic Games about why games like Unreal Tournament III and such weren't being developed for the Wii. Simply put the Wii does not have the horsepower. They aren't even interested in porting older games that could work on the Wii.

yes capcom wrote the games but the system to carry it was nintendo

Nintendo was always behind in the times by the time Nintendo came out Sega was a hit and turbo graphix 16 and NeoGeo was taking off then came Super Nintendo but by then was sega cd with the sega channel Nintendo ran and hid for awhile (besides the gameboy and DS) allowing PS1 PS2 PS3 Xbox and Xbox 360 to set the stage for gaming. Wii came out and is very innovative but lacks the games cause it is seen more as a fad than a true gaming system

The Wii threw a totally new concept into the gaming world, but 3rd party developers can't "Play with Power". Either they abuse the Wii Remote's motion controls, or they combine it with awful button/motion controls that just don't feel good to handle.

If you can't make a Wii game with decent motion controls, then just program the game with button controls only!
YES! I finally finished my Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas port for Mac! I'm so happy

Did you know that the PS 1 was actually Nintendo and Sony's effort to make a CD based console?

Then Nintendo ran away from it and decided to work with Phillips instead, and the... *gulp* "Phillips CD-i" was made with all it's glor... err... Educational games and an actual Zelda game where you got to play as Zelda...

Fact: The Phillips CD-i was actually WEAKER than the Super Nintendo.

sounds like raw vs smack down. to do one simple moves you have to push like 4 buttons and twist the controller all different ways. guess we came a long way from atari joystick and 1 button

Not to nitpick but you first said it was an original Nintendo game. To me that means one of two things. That could either be understood as it was on the original Nintendo system (NES) or it written and released by Nintendo. Neither are true. Capcom wrote and released the code to Nintendo. SSF2 was first released to home market on the SNES. But shortly afterwards they ported it to several other platforms....

I have a SSF2 Turbo CE arcade machine in my living room...
