it was never that i minded answering them, or helping people... it was they never gave back, they never cared, and most of all, they assumed they had these rights....

i helped TONS of people prior to the "search" posts
none of these people gave anything back to the community, no matter what i did *read the topic where i officially quit* even after making the site more person friendly it made no difference

this topic for instance, isnt about people contacting me, or bothering me for help, its them bothering me, and acting like thats all i am there for.... im sorry i feel used, when 99.99999999999999999% of the community, thinks im some sort of magic Elf whom helps everyone and this is their life... this topic is all about

As for the reef aquariums it is an everchanging nonconforming hobby/adiction . there are about a million different opinions on difficult to do things and about another million ways to set it up. Now this is where the case in point is proven. There is a guy local to here who is very involved nationally. everyone knows him and asks him questions. I have done the same thorny you are complaining about. Sust assumed he was the "Easy Button" There are tons on the boards who do nothing contribute nothing yet he and many others go selflessly and without the arrogance and tide. I really boat care but Just wanted to let you know what thought. Just hope you can take a look in the mirror.
