Was probably that similar foreplay we seen Theon endure before loosing that which we hold dearest.

LOL, he'll be hitting those Michael Jackson notes for the rest of his lifetime. For that matter, I'm totally lost on who is torturing him and why (prolly be explained at some point). The Red Wedding back on subject, indeed... makes you want to hope there's a "will be hell to pay" involved in that.

Well let's not forget lil Bran showing he cannot only control animals but ppl (at least mentally compromised ones for the time being) as well. Also lil arya has a buddy that can morph into all kinds of ppl and somehow just kill anybody anytime.
Hey, just for the heck of it why not make the littlest Stark like that baby on the "incredibles" shoot lasers out of his eyes and turn into a fire monster.

I think they Frey's would have gotten away with it " if it weren't for those meddling kids" stark kids.

LOL, leave it to you to point out (correctly) how absurd it sounds on virtual paper by comparison to our collective suspension of disbelief while we watch it

Yes, the series started as mere mortal men and the political machinery... the morphing into supernatural abilities and elements started where, again? Not the assassin (well yeah you can say his face changes were tantamount to sorcery). The Red Witch? Bran with his eyes rolling into the back of his head? The undead walking?

Even so, falls under "it's all good" in my book

Well, I won't spoil anything, but I overheard ( or in this case overread) a conversation, that leads me to believe that anything that can happen, will indeed happen. When I say can happen, it is important to keep in mind that the supernatural stuff seems to be becoming more into the foreground.

Hmm... second viewing to me raises more questions. Bolton: the way he spoke, it sounded like Fray's grand daughter was a recent... marriage. A dowry was made to him, her weight in silver. He acknowledged it made him a rich man. Payoff for his participation in the Red Wedding?

Fray: upon initial entry, specific food stuffs was offered all and eaten. Apparently tradition has it by this gesture, all within are to be under the host's protection while at a given location. Remarks were even made to this effect. I guess that's to be filed under treachery.

Looks like chubsy wubsy might have a chance at some happiness.
He's already been able to destroy one of the undead to protect her and her child, and she certainly seems impressed with his reading and writing skills. "A wizard" hmmm, sounds good to me.

LOL, unlucky in everything that one. He's got a 5 cent head. She's got a 2 cent head (too much inbreeding in this realm). Their own kid would likely have a 1 cent-I-need-to-give-you-change head, lol. Pity he dropped the dagger weapon (previously found as belonging to "The First Men" --- apparently they need to find a bunch of those, lol).

Notice how all these guys did their be headings feeling the pressure of their duties, as well as their manly hood..
First Ned with the deserter, then king "i'm my own grandpa" with Ned, then Theon with those in winter fell, and finally rob with that old man.
I noticed john snow didn't do this, he just couldn't lol

Theon had nothing to do with duty. It kind of fell under the same thing as the Wildings' expectation with John Snow chopping off the horse guy's head. Yep, he couldn't but with Theon it was more then something to prove from within. Of course, how many hacks did it take him to get to the center of the tootsie pop again?
